The Painter and Engraver Artist Michalis Kotsaris was born in
Etoliko-Greece. He studied Greek Language and Literature - History of Ats at the the University of Crete. In 1998, he created the first Fine
Arts Gallery in his town, the Art Gallery "Ergo 1998". He is involved in
Stage Designing as he is the Artistic Director of the Drama performances of
'Etoliko Theatre Group'. He is a member of the international non-profit art
movement 'IUOMA' and has participated in several of its exhibitions.
Engraving is his current main occupation. He is a member of the Greek
Engravers Association and the Greek Chambers of Fine Arts. Member of the "Vaso Katraki Museum - Center of Engravings Arts"
His work can be found in the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the Art Centre of the
New Library of Alexandria in Egypt, in the Gallery of Timisoara University
in Romania, in the "Diexodos" Speech and Arts centre in Mesolongi, as well
as in private collections in Greece and abroad. (Manolis Diplarakis
